Public Show 2007

All the winners from the club competition since April last year were given an airing to a very enthusiastic audience at our club on Tuesday 24th April 2007. Raffle prizes and home made cakes, tea & coffee were in plentiful supply.

Our picture shows our secretary, Jackie Jones with two of our members, Mary Nicholls and Colin Egglestone delivering the goods.

Les Standhaven

It is with regret that we have to announce the death of Les Standhaven aged 84. Les, a reliable member of the Bradford Club for many years, was a well respected film maker.

The funeral was on Thursday 18th January at 12.40pm at Nab Wood Crematorium. A large proportion of our members and ex-members attended.

Change to the syllabus.

Please note that there is a change to the printed syllabus for 2006/7. The "Film to a Record" competition will now be held 2nd April 2007.

The visit of Phase 4(Carol & Ken Wilson)will now be on 15th January 2007. Please amend your own syllabus.

Public Show - 2006

We had a very good audience at our Annual Public Show. The films were quite varied and included winners from all categories. The show ended with our newest member who won the Annual competition with his excellent drama "The Chair".

Our photo shows Mr.& Mrs Bob Tinsdale from Harrogate enjoying the evening.

CHRISTMAS PARTY 2005

Once again Jack & Norma Yorke ran the club Christmas Party. Games were played, prizes were won and food & drinks a-plenty were consumed. The first showing of Jack's "Twice Nightly" was enjoyed by all.

The club sends SEASONS GREETINGS to all our friends and website readers. Please keep in touch in 2006.
